APC Candidate Donates N1M to LAUTECH Best Graduate

On August 15, 2023, Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate for Osun State, announced a donation of N1 million to Oladepo Caleb Olugbenga, who emerged as the overall best graduating student from the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) with a CGPA of 4.89. This gesture was made during the university's 18th convocation ceremony held in Ogbomosho, Oyo State.

Oladepo, an indigene of Ijimoba in the Ejigbo Local Government Area of Osun State, faced significant challenges during his studies, including financial struggles and a lack of basic resources. The donation was communicated by Remi Omowaiy, the chairman of the media committee for the Ambo Campaign Organization, who emphasized the importance of supporting youth in education.

Oyebamiji expressed his commitment to assist young people in the state to excel in their academic pursuits and highlighted the positive impact of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) in making education accessible.
