Osun APC Denies Accord's Claims of Motor Park Violence

The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) issued a statement rejecting allegations made by the state chapter of Accord, which claimed that the APC was collaborating with National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) leader Musiliu Akinsanya, known as MC Oluomo, to forcibly take over motor parks in Osun State. Kola Olabisi, the APC's Director of Media and Information, described the allegations as ill-conceived, false, and fabricated.

Accord's chairman, Pastor Victor Akande, had accused the APC and MC Oluomo of plotting a violent takeover through Kazeem Oyewale, also known as Asiri Eniba. The APC denied any involvement in the NURTW's activities, asserting that such matters are not within its constitutional provisions.

The party urged the public and police to disregard the allegations, labeling them as frivolous and diversionary. The APC also criticized the state government for not focusing on governance post-governorship election and reiterated that any disruption of peace should be attributed to the state government and Accord leaders.
