INEC Reports Delays in 207 Osun Polling Units

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) reported that during the Osun State election, 207 polling units experienced delays. By 8:30 am, 3,556 out of a total of 3,763 polling units, representing 94.5%, had opened.

The remaining 207 polling units, which accounted for 5.5%, became operational by 9:00 am. Additionally, INEC confirmed that the activation of all 332 Registration Area Centres (RACs) across Osun State was completed by 6:09 pm on the preceding Friday.

The commission assessed both the RAC activation and polling unit opening processes as peaceful, orderly, and timely.
