Accord Party Urges INEC to Ensure Neutrality in Osun Polls

Maxwell Mgbudem, stated that the upcoming election is a crucial test for INEC's readiness for the 2027 general elections. Accord Party urged the electorate to resist vote buying and financial inducements, insisting that every vote must be counted and respected.

The party expressed confidence in achieving a landslide victory, citing support for the continuity of Adeleke’s leadership. Accord emphasized that INEC must ensure the integrity of the electoral process, adequately prepare its materials, and conduct a free, fair, credible, transparent, and inclusive election.

The party warned that there should be no excuses for poor performance, as the integrity of INEC is at stake, and it has an opportunity to redeem its image and justify the confidence placed in it by Nigerians.
