Atiku Abubakar Campaigns for ADC's Najeem Salam in Osun

On Monday, October 2023, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the former vice president and presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), campaigned for Dr. Najeem Salam, the ADC governorship candidate in Osun State.

The campaign rally took place at the Nelson Mandela Freedom Park in Osogbo, where Atiku addressed a large crowd, stating that the ADC represents “the finest crop of Nigerians” and deserves the people's mandate. He recalled his previous engagements in Osun, noting he had appeared on the podium four times, each time receiving support from the electorate.

Atiku urged voters to support the ADC, highlighting its distinctiveness from the All Progressives Congress (APC) and other political parties. Senator David Mark, the ADC national chairman, expressed confidence in an imminent ADC victory and encouraged voters to turn out in large numbers to protect their ballots during the election on Saturday.
