Oyebamiji and Oyetola Vote in Osun Governorship Election

In the ongoing Osun governorship election, Bola Oyebamiji, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, and former Osun State Governor Gboyega Oyetola cast their votes on the election day. Oyetola voted at Ward 1, Unit 10, in Iragbiji, Boripe Local Government Area, while Oyebamiji and his wife voted at Ward 9, Polling Unit 011, Gantry Area, Ikire, in Irewole Local Government Area.

After voting, Oyebamiji commended the large turnout of voters in Ikire, stating that it demonstrated residents' resilience against intimidation related to the election. He noted the presence of INEC officials, voters, and security operatives, expressing confidence in the election's credibility.

Oyebamiji urged security agencies to proactively protect voters and ensure a peaceful election process. He also commented on the reported arrest of a politician, emphasizing the need for the police to perform their duties professionally and expressed his confidence in winning the election.
