APGA Candidate Endorses APC's Oyebamiji in Osun Race

On Saturday, Prince Adesina Adeyemi-Doro, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Osun State, announced his withdrawal from the August 15 governorship election and endorsed the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji. This decision was revealed during a press conference in Osogbo, where Adeyemi-Doro called on his supporters and APGA members to support Oyebamiji.

He stated that his choice followed extensive consultations with party leadership, including the state chairman and secretary. Adeyemi-Doro emphasized that his decision was influenced by his assessment of the candidates and a shared progressive orientation.

Oyebamiji welcomed the endorsement, promising an inclusive administration if elected and inviting cooperation from other political groups. Ambassador Issah Adedotun Niniola, Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Protocol, praised Adeyemi-Doro's strategic decision, expressing optimism about its positive impact on Oyebamiji’s campaign and the APC's future in Osun State.
