APGA Candidate Backs APC's Oyebamiji for Osun Poll

On Saturday, Adesina Adeyemi-Doro, the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), declared his support for Bola Oyebamiji, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, in the upcoming governorship election scheduled for August 15 in Osun State. Adeyemi-Doro made this announcement during the ‘Osun Youth Interactive Session with Oyebamiji’ organized by the APC Campaign Council in Osogbo.

He stated that his decision to step down was made after consultations with APGA executives and members across the state, leading to an alignment with the APC. Adeyemi-Doro expressed his commitment to work towards delivering Osun State to Oyebamiji.

In response, Oyebamiji thanked Adeyemi-Doro for the endorsement and expressed his intention to reach out to other political parties for further support. The event also featured Ayodele Asalu, Chairman of the Directorate of Youth, Students and Civil Society, who emphasized the importance of political engagement among the youth in addressing issues relevant to their future.
