Oyebamiji Promises Worker Entitlements Review if Elected

Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for Osun State, announced his commitment to review and pay outstanding entitlements owed to both active and retired workers if he wins the governorship election scheduled for August 15. During an interaction with senior journalists in Lagos, Oyebamiji stated that his administration would conduct a comprehensive review of these entitlements within the first 100 days of taking office.

He also promised to ensure the full operationalization of the Dagbolu Dry Port and to empower at least 10,000 young people in information and communication technology through strategic partnerships. Additionally, he plans to hold monthly meetings of the State Security Council and launch pilot off-grid renewable energy projects in selected public institutions and rural communities.

Oyebamiji expressed confidence in defeating the incumbent governor, Ademola Adeleke, citing a significant shift of support towards the APC since the last election, where the margin of victory was only four percent.
