Oyebamiji Promises Reforms Ahead of Osun Governorship Poll

Bola Oyebamiji, the governorship candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, has committed to implementing reforms in power generation, education, and healthcare as part of his campaign for the upcoming election on August 15, 2026. Speaking at a meeting with the leadership of the Osun Muslim community in Osogbo, Oyebamiji emphasized the importance of strengthening security across the state, describing safety as essential for economic growth and commercial activities.

He outlined his intention to focus on various sectors, including agriculture and worker welfare, to engender economic growth and ensure equitable distribution of resources across towns in Osun State. Oyebamiji, who previously served as the Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority, expressed confidence in his candidacy, stating that he would secure victory on August 15, 2026.

Mustapha Olawuyi, president of the Osun State Muslim community, praised Oyebamiji for his humanitarian contributions and commitment to the Muslim community.
