Osun APC Calls for Removal of OSSIEC Chairman Over Alleged Unconstitutional Appointment

The Osun State chapter of the APC is demanding the dismissal of OSSIEC chairman, Hashim Abioye, accusing him of being an illegitimate member of the PDP and his appointment by Governor Adeleke as unconstitutional. Legal proceedings have been commenced at the Federal High Court in Osogbo, Osun State, challenging Abioye's appointment.

Evidence presented includes Abioye's PDP membership card and his participation in the 2019 elections under the PDP. The case has been transferred to the Federal High Court in Bayelsa State for further adjudication.
