Osun: Police quiz ‘lover boy’ over girlfriend’s death

A man known as Yinka is being questioned by the Osun Police Command after his girlfriend, Bidemi Omole, suddenly died at her residence in Obokun Local Government Area. The incident occurred on Friday when Bidemi fell ill and began vomiting shortly after arriving at Yinka's house.

She was rushed to the hospital but passed away. The Police Command's Public Relations Officer, Abiodun Ojelabi, confirmed that Yinka is in police custody for a thorough investigation.

An autopsy is being conducted to determine the cause of Bidemi's death. Residents in the area, like Taye, mentioned that Bidemi was believed to be heading to a vigil on Friday evening, which she usually attends.

The police are looking into the circumstances surrounding her death as the community is in shock over the tragic incident.
