APC Campaign Council Strategizes for Osun Election Victory

The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Campaign Council held a meeting in Abuja on Monday to prepare for the upcoming Osun State governorship election set for August 15, 2026. The meeting was chaired by Hope Uzodimma, the Governor of Imo State, who urged members to focus on achieving victory rather than engaging in festivities.

He emphasized the need for a business-oriented approach, instructing all subcommittees to expedite their work and submit concrete proposals to the National Secretary by Thursday. Additionally, Uzodimma directed the Finance Subcommittee to start collecting contributions from members and non-members willing to support the campaign.

Barau I. Jibrin, the Secretary of the National Campaign Council and Deputy President of the Senate, reinforced the call for members to concentrate their efforts on winning the governorship election, postponing secondary matters until after the voting process is complete.

The ruling party is intensifying its organizational structure to ensure alignment among all operational arms ahead of the election.
