Adeleke Endorses Tinubu Ahead of Osun Gubernatorial Election

In the lead-up to the Osun State gubernatorial election, Governor Ademola Adeleke has publicly endorsed President Bola Tinubu for a second term, stating, “Our own son, father and leader” deserves the support of the Osun electorate. Adeleke emphasized his connection to Tinubu, noting, “I am the governor of the ancestral birthplace of Mr. President.” This endorsement comes despite the fact that Tinubu will not be on the ballot until the following year.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, expressed a strong determination to win Osun for Tinubu’s re-election, stating, “We must win Osun and nothing will stop us.” Yilwatda made these remarks during the inauguration of a 276-member campaign council led by Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, asserting that the political strength of their team would overwhelm any opposition in Osun.
