Timi Frank Calls for Unity Ahead of 2027 Elections

Timi Frank, the former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), praised Governor Ademola Adeleke's victory in the Osun State governorship election as a demonstration of the people's power and a potential indicator for the 2027 general elections. In a statement made in Abuja, Frank emphasized that the election outcome illustrated that citizens could overcome political pressures when determined to defend their choices.

He warned that the 2027 presidential election would ultimately be decided by Nigerian voters, regardless of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's expectations. Frank called for opposition parties to unite and for Nigerians to remain vigilant, urging them to vote and ensure their votes are counted.

He commended Osun voters for rejecting inducements and voting according to their conscience. Additionally, he recognized Nigerian music star David Adeleke (Davido) for his commitment to electoral integrity and encouraged youths and celebrities to engage actively in the democratic process.
