Osun Governor Criticizes APC Candidate's Economic Blueprint as Outdated

Osun State Governor Adeleke strongly criticizes the economic blueprint unveiled by the APC governorship candidate Oyebamiji, labeling it as outdated and disconnected from the state's current socio-economic reality. Adeleke accuses Oyebamiji of seeking to return Osun to an era of capital flight and deepening poverty through regressive tax regimes.

Adeleke contrasts Oyebamiji's proposals with his own administration's focus on local content, grassroots empowerment, and inclusive growth. He highlights key pillars of his economic blueprint, including citizen empowerment, artisan cooperatives, financial inclusion, infrastructure development, and expanding the tax base.

Adeleke dismisses Oyebamiji's plan as a mere recycling of existing policies and emphasizes his administration's efforts in areas such as power digitization and economic diversification. Adeleke warns against Oyebamiji's proposed Lagos corridor, stating it could undermine Osun's local content policies and hinder efforts to build sustainable agro-industrial and digital economies in the state.
