Adeleke Wins Polling Unit with 421 Votes in Osun Election

On Saturday, during the ongoing governorship election in Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, the Accord Party candidate and current Governor, achieved victory in his polling unit, securing 421 votes at Ward 02, Polling Unit 009, Abogunde Compound, Ede North Local Government Area. Following the announcement of the results, jubilation erupted among his supporters.

Earlier, Adeleke expressed confidence in his chances of winning after casting his vote at Sagba Abogunde Ward 2, Unit 9, in the same local government area. Meanwhile, Bola Oyebamiji, the opposition candidate from the All Progressives Congress, also expressed optimism about his prospects after voting at Ward 09, Unit 011, Ikire, in the Irewole Local Government Area.

As the election progressed into the sorting and collation stage, all major candidates conveyed their confidence in securing the electorate's mandate.
