Abia Governor Otti Backs NDLEA's Efforts to Combat Drug Trafficking

Abia State Governor Alex Otti expressed support for the NDLEA's fight against drug trafficking during a visit by NDLEA officials. Otti emphasized the importance of enacting stringent laws and implementing social interventions to tackle drug abuse, which he identified as a major driver of violent crime.

He highlighted the need to create opportunities for young people to prevent them from engaging in criminal activities fueled by drug abuse. The NDLEA official, Florence Ezeony, commended Otti's leadership and partnership in addressing drug-related issues in Abia State.
