Otti Transfers NAF Complex to FG, Strengthening Security

On Friday, Abia State Governor Alex Otti officially handed over the newly constructed Nigerian Air Force Administrative Complex in Umuahia to the Federal Government. The ceremony was attended by Chief of the Air Staff Air Marshal Kelvin Aneke and Minister of Defence General Christopher Musa (retd.).

Otti stated that the handover signifies the collaboration between the Federal Government and state governments in enhancing security. He emphasized that the right to security is non-negotiable for all residents and visitors in Abia State.

Otti expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu and the Nigerian Air Force for their support in establishing an Air Force presence in the state. Air Marshal Aneke praised the investment in national security and described the establishment of a permanent Air Force presence as a historic milestone.

General Musa commended Otti for his commitment to security and urged Air Force personnel to maintain professionalism and contribute positively to the state’s development.
