Otti Partners with NAADI to Boost Abia Agriculture

On Wednesday, Governor Alex Otti of Abia State received a delegation from the Nigeria Agribusiness Agro-Industry Development Initiative (NAADI), led by its director, Felix Charl, at the Government House in Umuahia. Otti expressed his readiness to collaborate with NAADI to leverage agricultural initiatives that align with his administration's economic agenda.

He emphasized the importance of processing agricultural products to add value and achieve meaningful economic growth, stating that the state cannot rely solely on raw materials. Otti noted that Abia is rich in resources such as palm oil, cassava, cocoa, cashew nuts, rubber, and leather, which require industrial processing to enhance their economic value.

Felix Charl highlighted that NAADI is a federal initiative aimed at promoting agricultural participation and strengthening agro-processing value chains. He commended Otti's development projects and assured that NAADI is committed to a partnership that would benefit Abia State.
