Otu Celebrates APC Chairman Yilwatda on 58th Birthday

On Tuesday, Cross River State Governor Senator Bassey Otu congratulated Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on his 58th birthday. In a goodwill message signed by his Chief of Staff, Emmanuel Ironbar, Otu expressed confidence that Yilwatda’s leadership would enhance the party's prospects for success in the 2027 general elections.

He praised Yilwatda as an experienced administrator and politician, emphasizing the importance of cohesive leadership to strengthen the APC and expand its political base. Otu noted Yilwatda’s extensive background in academia, electoral administration, public service, and politics, which he believes equips him to lead the party during a critical period in Nigeria's political landscape.

The governor expressed optimism that under Yilwatda’s guidance, the APC would deepen its grassroots presence and secure more victories in the upcoming elections. Otu wished Yilwatda continued good health, wisdom, and strength in his service to the party and the nation.
