APC Celebrates Yilwatda's Leadership, Eyes 2027 Victory

The All Progressives Congress (APC) celebrated the first anniversary of Professor Nentawe Yilwatda as National Chairman, describing his tenure as a pivotal moment for the party. In a statement released on Sunday in Sokoto by Yusuf Dingyadi, the Chairman’s Senior Special Assistant on Media, the APC noted that Yilwatda inherited a challenging political environment but swiftly worked to restore confidence through reconciliation, consultation, and institutional reforms.

The party reported significant advancements in internal democracy during his leadership, emphasizing efforts to reconcile aggrieved members, which has strengthened the party nationwide. The statement praised Yilwatda's inclusive leadership style, which has fostered cooperation among the National Working Committee, party elders, and stakeholders, leading to enhanced unity and renewed confidence in the APC.

Additionally, the APC mentioned that administrative processes at the National Secretariat have been improved for efficiency, transparency, and accountability, with revitalized party structures at various levels to better serve members and expanded outreach to key demographics in preparation for future elections.
