Kebbi Clerics Identify Sin as Nigeria's Core Problem

On Thursday, clerics from various religious groups in Kebbi State convened at the behest of the Kebbi State Ministry of Religious Affairs to address the pressing issues facing Nigeria. They collectively declared that sinful acts are a significant cause of the nation's ongoing tribulations.

The meeting, held in Birnin Kebbi, included contributions from notable figures such as Sani Aliyu, who acknowledged the clerics' role in promoting good governance and security. The gathering aimed to encourage a renewal of faith and a collective effort to seek God's forgiveness as a pathway out of Nigeria's challenges.

Prominent clerics, including Professor Abubakar Wali Argungu and Khalifa Ahmad Usman Mukhtar, called on their peers to lead by example and not to heed gossip or negative sentiments against the religious commission.
