Over 800 Residents Benefit from DOAM Foundation’s Free Medical Outreach in Imo

The Daniel Ogechi Akujobi Memorial Foundation (DOAMF) recently organized a free medical outreach in Imo State, benefiting over 800 residents in Inyishi Amaimo and neighboring communities. The outreach, held in commemoration of World Malaria Day 2025, provided consultations, screenings, diagnoses, and treatments for various health conditions, including malaria, diabetes, high blood pressure, typhoid, eye defects, and vitamin deficiencies.

Participants received both preventive and curative medications at no cost. The event also featured community health education sessions to promote awareness and lifestyle adjustments for better health outcomes.

DOAMF emphasized its commitment to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3 of Good Health, focusing on both treatment and prevention through sensitization and education. The foundation expressed gratitude to partners, volunteers, and community members for their collaboration in amplifying the program's impact since its establishment in 2006.
