Overland Airways Resumes Lagos-Akure Flights March 2026

Overland Airways has officially announced the resumption of its flight services between Lagos and Akure, effective March 23, 2026. Mr.

Aderonk Emmanuel Jame, the Chief Operating Officer of Overland Airways, highlighted this development as a significant milestone in the airline's commitment to providing reliable and convenient air travel services to the people of Ondo State and neighboring communities across southwestern Nigeria. The resumed Lagos-Akure flights will complement existing services to Abuja and are part of a broader strategy to strengthen the airline's dedication to safe and customer-centric air travel.

Overland Airways plans to expand its route network, restoring flight services to Abuja and several other destinations across Nigeria, including Ibadan in Oyo State, Warri in Delta State, Jalingo in Taraba State, and Minna in Niger State. The airline intends to launch these routes in the coming months, offering six daily weekly flights from Lagos to Akure, catering to early morning travel needs and designed with customer schedules in mind.
