Segilola Launches Road and Water Projects in Osun State

Segilola Resources Operating Limited (SROL) inaugurated significant road and water projects in Osun State during a visit to Ijesaland, led by Oba Clement Adesuyi Haastrup Ajimoko III. The projects include the rehabilitation of a 2.4-kilometer road linking Imogbara and Odo Ijesa, which involved grading, filling, and constructing interlocking stone pavements with drainage channels.

Additionally, SROL unveiled a community-owned water treatment facility in Iperindo, designed to produce 3,000 liters of treated water per hour using advanced systems. The initiatives are part of SROL's commitment to community development, aiming to create direct employment for 80 indigenes and enhance local infrastructure.

The company has employed 2,000 people across the southwest, with 40% from Ijesaland. The projects are expected to improve access to clean water and reduce reliance on unsafe sources, thereby fostering long-term economic value for the community.
