Oyebamiji Advocates for Better Resource Management in Osun

Oyebamiji, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), addressed the media to express gratitude for their support during his tenure as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA). He previously served as Commissioner for Finance under Governors Rauf Aregbesola and Adegboyega Oyetola and as Managing Director of the Osun Investment Company Limited, now Omoluabi Holdings Limited.

Oyebamiji noted that Osun State's monthly allocation from the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) increased from approximately N2.6 billion to about N16 billion. Despite this increase, he stated that residents feel they have not seen corresponding improvements in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic development.

He criticized the management of public funds and emphasized the need for accountability. Oyebamiji introduced the "Prosperity Agenda," a blueprint with seven strategic pillars aimed at addressing the immediate and long-term needs of Osun State.
