Oyebamiji Launches Campaign for Osun Governorship Election

Bola Oyebamiji, representing the Candid Progress Congress, officially launched his campaign for the Osun State governorship on Thursday. During a rally in Ilorin, he emphasized his commitment to equitable distribution of public resources across the state.

Oyebamiji outlined plans to improve various sectors, including infrastructure, by renovating key roads such as the Enuwa Fajuyi Junction Road and Aderemi Road. He also pledged to establish modern markets to enhance the status of Ilorin as the cradle of the Yoruba race.

Additionally, Oyebamiji promised regular training and retraining opportunities for civil servants, ensuring that nepotism would not be practiced in his administration. He criticized the current government's handling of healthcare, vowing to improve conditions for health workers and provide farmers with hybrid seeds to boost agricultural output.

The gubernatorial election is scheduled for August 15, with fourteen political parties fielding candidates.
