Oyebanji Thanks Tinubu for Easing Governance in Ekiti

Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji stated that President Bola Tinubu has significantly eased governance in the state. During an interaction with journalists in Ado Ekiti, Oyebanji recounted the struggles his administration faced in its first six months, particularly with the state’s wage bill and capital projects.

He credited Tinubu's presidency for various intervention programs that provided resources to the state, enabling the implementation of the "Share Prosper" agenda. Oyebanji mentioned ongoing construction on three federal roads and noted that without Tinubu's intervention, these projects would not have commenced.

He highlighted the approval of contracts for road construction, including the Ado-Itawure road, which has a contract value exceeding the state’s budget for two years. Oyebanji also reported that his administration paid 85 billion naira in gratuities and pensions in 2022.

He urged the people of Ekiti to support Tinubu’s re-election, asserting that progress requires courage and confidence to address longstanding issues.
