NRS Launches Rev360 Platform to Enhance Tax Compliance

On October 25, 2023, the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) launched the Rev360 platform in Abuja, aimed at transforming tax administration in Nigeria. Taiwo Oyedele, the Minister of Finance, praised the innovation as a critical shift in the country's revenue architecture.

Zacch Adedeji, the Executive Chairman of NRS, described Rev360 as a transformative leap that redefines the agency's operational model. The platform is designed to strengthen revenue administration, bolster voluntary compliance, and simplify the tax process for businesses and individuals.

It aims to create a technology-driven tax environment that enhances transparency and improves investor confidence, aligning with the federal government's broader economic reform agenda. The platform integrates various tax processes into a single ecosystem, facilitating registration, filing, payment, and compliance management.

Key stakeholders, including Bolaji Akintola and Tayo Koleosho, emphasized the importance of data in modern tax administration and the need for a collaborative relationship between taxpayers and revenue authorities.
