APC Leaders Endorse Senator Alli for Oyo Governorship

On a significant day for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, party leaders convened a high-level leadership summit in Samonda, Ibadan, where they endorsed Senator Sharafadeen Alli as the party's governorship candidate for the 2027 elections. This decision, articulated by Senator Ayo Adeseun, was reached through extensive consultations aimed at building consensus among party leaders.

The endorsement reflects the support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who previously met with party leaders in Abuja to reinforce Alli's candidacy. Senator Alli had already declared his intention to contest for the governorship seat prior to this endorsement.

Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle, another key party leader, emphasized the need for unity among APC aspirants to ensure electoral success. The summit witnessed a large turnout of party leaders representing various geopolitical zones in Oyo State, underscoring the importance of this endorsement.
