Olajide Declares Candidacy for Oyo Governorship 2027

Hon. Adedeji Stanlei Olajide, the chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Digital Information and Cybersecurity, has announced his intention to run for the governorship of Oyo State in the 2027 elections.

Speaking during a meeting with journalists led by the Oyo State chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Comrade Akeem Aba, Olajide expressed confidence in his position as a credible candidate. He highlighted his dedication to public service and his experience in the National Assembly, which he believes prepares him for higher responsibilities.

Olajide noted that his loyalty to Oyo State and the People Democratic Party (PDP) has been unwavering, and he aims to build on the development roadmap initiated by the current governor, Seyi Makinde. He emphasized the importance of completing ongoing projects and ensuring the state's continued growth and stability.
