Oyo APC Condemns Kidnapping of Bayo Adelabu's Sister

On Wednesday, Busayo Adelabu, the sister of former Minister of Power Bayo Adelabu, was abducted alongside her 12-year-old twin sons by armed men in Ibadan, Oyo State. The incident occurred around 7:30 AM as they were traveling home.

The Oyo APC, through its spokesperson Olawal Sadar, condemned the abduction and called on Governor Seyi Makinde to collaborate with security agencies to address the rising insecurity in the state. Sadar expressed concern over the increasing number of kidnappings, particularly in light of recent cases involving school children and teachers in the Oriir Local Government Area.

The state police command, represented by spokesperson Olayinka Ayanlad, confirmed that investigations have commenced to uncover the circumstances surrounding the abduction. Sadar urged residents to remain calm and appealed for concerted efforts from federal, state, and local authorities to ensure the safety of citizens in Oyo State.
