Oyo Governorship Aspirant Advocates for Better Healthcare

Dr. Adewal Kareem, a governorship aspirant from the Progressive Congress, has articulated a vision for Oyo State, emphasizing the necessity for enhanced healthcare services and stronger security measures. In a statement released by media aide Dayo Badmu on Tuesday, Kareem outlined his commitment to developing comprehensive plans to address the state's challenges as he prepares for the 2027 elections.

He highlighted the importance of prioritizing security, healthcare, education, youth empowerment, and agricultural development. Kareem's administration would focus on educational reform, economic diversification, and infrastructure renewal.

He has been involved in various community-based interventions, including financial support for small businesses and youth-focused programs, such as establishing a football club and scholarship schemes. Furthermore, Kareem's international exposure, particularly in Australia, is expected to help him adapt global best practices to Oyo State's socio-economic realities.

He has begun consultations with party elders and traditional leaders to strengthen unity within the party ahead of the upcoming elections.
