Oyo Govt and UNICEF Launch SUSI Program to Reduce Poverty

The Oyo State Government, in collaboration with UNICEF, launched the Supporting Sustainable Social Protection Systems in Nigeria (SUSI) program. This initiative aims to reduce poverty and enhance social inclusion in the state.

The program, supported by the European Union and implemented by UNICEF and the International Labour Organization, seeks to strengthen the state's capacity to provide effective social protection. Acting Governor of Oyo State, Barrister Adebayo Lawal, emphasized the government's commitment to the program's objectives.

The launch event, held in Ibadan, brought together key stakeholders from various sectors to support the initiative's implementation and ensure a robust legal framework for its success.
