Oyo Speaker Adebo Ogundoyin Enters 2027 Governorship Race

Adebo Ogundoyin, the Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, has officially joined the race for the 2027 governorship election. This announcement was made through a statement issued on Sunday by his Special Assistant on Media, Oyetunji Oyekunle.

Ogundoyin received endorsements from stakeholders of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) during a zonal meeting held in Igboora, where discussions focused on preparations for the upcoming election. The stakeholders praised Ogundoyin's leadership qualities, loyalty to the party, and contributions to legislative stability in the state.

He expressed gratitude for the support and described it as an honor, pledging to heed the call to participate in the governorship race. Ogundoyin represents the Ibarapa East constituency and assured stakeholders of his commitment to inclusivity and continued development across the state.
