Paid Propagandists Target Peter Obi Ahead of 2027 Elections, Movement Warns

The Obidient Movement accused paid propagandists of spreading misinformation to tarnish the reputation of Peter Obi, the Labour Party's presidential candidate for the 2023 election, ahead of the 2027 polls. Yunusa Tanko, the national coordinator of the movement, raised concerns about deliberate attempts to mislead the public through false narratives targeting Obi.

Tanko cited instances of propaganda and highlighted Obi's contributions to education, youth empowerment, and healthcare. The movement emphasized the need for accurate information and criticized the spread of misleading content aimed at undermining Obi's image and political career, urging for a fair and transparent political environment.
