Obidient Movement accuses Tinubu of plotting chaos in parties wooing Peter Obi

The Obidient Movement's National Coordinator, Yunusa Tanko, has accused President Bola Tinubu of orchestrating chaos within political parties to prevent former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi from gaining traction. Tanko claimed that Tinubu's administration is working to ensure that Obi does not secure a presidential ticket, despite expressing confidence in Obi's candidacy.

Tanko alleged that the government is creating problems in every political party that shows interest in Obi, in order to sow chaos. He emphasized the importance of protecting Obi's interests and ensuring his victory, as he is a popular presidential candidate with widespread support.

Tanko warned against repeating the mistake of denying a popular candidate the opportunity to become president, citing the example of MKO Abiola. He urged Nigerian youth to get involved in politics and support Obi's candidacy.
