APC Confirms Ali Isa Pantami's Membership Status

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has reiterated that Ali Isa Pantami, the former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, remains a member of the party. This statement follows claims that Pantami had resigned after emerging as a governorship candidate for the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Gombe State.

Jamilu Gwamna, speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, clarified that the APC's executive committee had neither received nor deliberated on any resignation letter allegedly submitted by Pantami. Mose Kyari, a member of the APC executive committee, confirmed that the ward committee had not seen any such letter, asserting that Pantami's membership status remains intact until proper procedures are followed.

The APC spokesperson dismissed claims made by Pantami during a television interview regarding his potential defection, emphasizing that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu supports the party's unity and growth in Gombe State.
