Nigerian Presidential Amnesty Program Donates 900 Laptops to University Students in Niger Delta

The Presidential Amnesty Program (PAP) in Nigeria, led by Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro, has donated 900 laptops to students, including those from partner universities like the Nigerian Maritime University and Admiralty University of Nigeria, as well as non-partner institutions like Dennis Osadebe University, Southern Delta University, and University of Delta.

The distribution of laptops began in May 2025 with 663 laptops in the first batch and continued with 857 laptops in the second batch in November 2025. The laptops are aimed at equipping scholarship students with essential tools for learning and research in the technology-driven era.

Dr. Otuaro emphasized the importance of education in personal growth, innovation, and sustainable development in the Niger Delta region.

Engr. Sokoto Ebikond Victor Otuaro reiterated the commitment to supporting youth empowerment through education and skill acquisition.

The gesture is seen as an investment by the federal government in the future development of the Niger Delta region, with a focus on achieving outstanding academic results and overall success for the students.
