Pastor Among Nine Killed in Plateau State Attacks

In a series of violent attacks in Plateau State, at least nine people were killed, including a pastor. The incidents occurred between Saturday night and the morning of September 21.

Five victims were passengers traveling to Gana-Ropp in Barkin Ladi local government area when they were attacked on Saturday night. Additionally, two individuals, including a pastor, were killed while heading to church in Dorowa Babuje.

Bulus Dabit, the national president of the Mwaghavul Development Association, confirmed the deaths and condemned the attacks, urging security forces to pursue the perpetrators. Ukasha Garaba, a youth leader in Gana-Ropp, reported the evacuation of the five corpses, stating they were laborers.

Rwang Tengwong, spokesman for the Berom Youth Moulders, also condemned the violence, calling for urgent security measures in the affected communities to prevent further loss of life.
