PCN Tasks 60 New Pharmacists On Ethics, Lifelong Learning

The Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN) recently inducted 60 new pharmacists from Kaduna State University (KASU), emphasizing the importance of ethics and lifelong learning in the profession. PCN Registrar, Ibrahim Babashehu Ahmed, urged the graduands to uphold the ethical standards of the profession and commit to excellence in their practice.

He highlighted the statutory requirement for full registration as a pharmacist and stressed the need for integrity, discipline, and a sense of service. Ahmed also emphasized the importance of lifelong learning in keeping up with technological advancements and global best practices.

The Vice Chancellor of KASU, Professor Abdullahi Ibrahim Musa, encouraged the new pharmacists to uphold professionalism and ethical integrity in their work, reminding them of their role as assets to the healthcare sector. The ceremony symbolized a commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethics in the field.
