PCRC Honors Retired Female Police Officers for Service to National Security

The Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) honored seven retired senior female police officers in Nigeria, including Dame Stella Obuoforibo Okuyiga and others, for their meritorious service and dedication to strengthening national security. The event, held in Abuja, was attended by PCRC's national chairman, Alhaji Mogaji Ibraheem Olaniyan, and representatives from various chapters.

The PCRC reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, and emphasized the importance of community policing. Monetary support and awards were presented to the honorees, with a special mention of a 96-year-old pioneer female officer who couldn't attend.

The PCRC also highlighted efforts to provide post-service employment opportunities for retired officers.
