Hamma Saleh Declares for Gombe Governorship Election 2027

Hamma Saleh, popularly known as Hamsal, officially declared his intent to contest the 2027 Gombe governorship election as a member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP). He submitted his letter of intent on Friday during a visit to the PDP state secretariat in Gombe, accompanied by a delegation led by former Shongom Local Government Area chairman Danladi Garba.

Saleh reaffirmed his loyalty to the PDP and praised the party's stakeholders for their dedication. He acknowledged the contributions of former governor Ibrahim Dankwambo, highlighting his consistent support for the party.

Adamu Abubakar, the state chairman of the PDP, described Saleh's visit as a positive signal for the party's future. Dan Azumi Adamu, the state deputy chairman, commended Saleh for following due process in his declaration.

Alhaji Bala Magaji, chairman of the PDP elder forum in the state, expressed optimism about the party's chances in future elections. The event attracted a large number of supporters, showcasing solidarity for Saleh's 2027 governorship bid.
