PDP Promises Ogun Voters Better Welfare for 2027 Elections

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State, represented by Deputy Governorship Candidate Hajia (Dr.) ’Yemi Sowunmi-Kolapo, assured the electorate of better welfare if they vote for the party's candidates in the upcoming 2027 elections. Kolapo made this statement while addressing over 1,000 PDP members at the party’s Ijemo Zone meeting in Ward 5, Abeokuta South Local Government.

She emphasized the party's confidence in winning the elections and urged voters to support all PDP candidates from the National Assembly to the State House of Assembly. Kolapo reassured opposition members that they would not be abandoned after the PDP's anticipated victory.

Hon. Biodun Ogunremi, the Deputy State Chairman of the PDP, called for intensified grassroots mobilization, while High Chief Mustapha Owolabi, the Director-General of the PDP Campaign Council in Ogun State, described the 2027 election as a “done deal.” The meeting showcased strong solidarity among the Ijemo people, reflecting the PDP's grassroots acceptance ahead of the elections.
