PDP Initiates Reconciliation Talks to Resolve Factional Disputes

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) has commenced a new reconciliation process aimed at resolving internal disputes and addressing grievances among factions within the party. This development was confirmed by Tanimu Turaki, SAN, who is leading the national working committee tasked with this initiative.

Turaki disclosed the ongoing efforts during a press conference in Abuja on Wednesday. He emphasized that party leaders from opposing sides have begun working towards resolving their differences.

Senior lawyers are also involved in discussions to initiate a positive outcome from these factional disputes. Turaki urged party members to support the reconciliation efforts and maintain calm, warning that inflammatory statements or actions from loyalists could derail the ongoing peace process aimed at restoring unity within the opposition party.
