PDP Launches Membership Update in Kwara State

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State has commenced a statewide membership information update aimed at strengthening its membership database and ensuring compliance with electoral regulations. This initiative was announced in a statement issued on Friday by Olusegun Olusola Adewara, the party's state public secretary.

The update process will take place during regular ward meetings, where members will have the opportunity to update their personal information. Members are required to provide specific personal details, including their National Identification Number (NIN), date of birth, residential address, Local Government Area (LGA), Polling Unit (PU), and a passport photograph.

Adewara emphasized that this update is necessary to ensure the membership database complies with legal provisions guiding political parties in Nigeria. The update will be conducted in line with the provisions of the Electoral Act, maintaining a credible and verifiable membership database.

The process will involve both digital registration and manual documentation, with designated registration officers managing the digital platform.
