PDP Launches Digital Membership Registration Nationwide

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the commencement of a nationwide digital membership registration, which will begin on March 2, 2026, and last for three weeks. This initiative, as stated by the party's national publicity secretary, Ini Ememobong, is designed to compile a digital membership register in compliance with the Electoral Act 2026.

The act requires political parties to submit a digital register of their members to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The registration will take place across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, occurring daily except Sundays.

Special cases will be managed by the national secretariat throughout the registration period. The exercise will be overseen by a special committee led by Hon.

Theophilus Daka Shan, who will also handle any complaints arising from the process. Members of the public are encouraged to visit their nearest PDP office within their wards to register.
