PDP's Amo Faruk Affirms Party's Strength for 2027 Elections

During an address on Friday, Amo Faruk, a chieftain of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Bogoro Local Government Area, Bauchi State, asserted that the PDP is larger than any individual and will remain a formidable political force in Nigeria. He expressed confidence that the party would emerge stronger despite current challenges as it prepares for the 2027 general elections.

Faruk encouraged party leaders and supporters to rally behind the PDP's candidates for various electoral positions, including the state house assembly seat for Ishaku Madaki. He noted that the PDP has maintained its integrity and strength since its establishment in 1998, even as members have left and returned.

Faruk highlighted the party's significant membership and support, urging aspirants to engage positively in politics and avoid violence. He reassured that the PDP would ensure a fair selection process for candidates, reflecting the collective wishes of the party members.
