PDP Raises Alarm Over Katsina State Security Crisis

The Katsina State chapter of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) has raised alarms regarding the escalating security crisis in Katsina State, which has deteriorated significantly in recent years, impacting the livelihoods and safety of communities. During a Thanksgiving ceremony organized for students to honor Senator Yakubu Lado, PDP Chairman Alhaji Nura Amadi Kurfi criticized the current administration, stating that the security and education sectors are in a state of disarray.

He noted that the situation has worsened since the All Progressives Congress (APC) took over governance in Katsina State, leading to setbacks in major sectors. Kurfi expressed optimism about the potential for turnaround through the PDP's agenda, which includes targeted programs to improve security and revitalize education.

He urged the people of Katsina to support gubernatorial aspirant Lado, whom he described as a capable leader committed to the welfare of the people. Lado assured students of his dedication to improving governance and addressing key challenges, including insecurity and education.
